ERBIL, Kurdistan Region of Iraq - Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani opened on Wednesday the first and largest health exhibition across Iraq in Erbil.
“The Prime Minister visited the booths of the exhibition, which is the first and largest international health exhibition in Iraq and Kurdistan,” read a statement by PM Barzani’s media office.
More than 150 local and international companies have taken part in it” from 20 countries across the world.
The Erbil International Health Exhibition (MEDICO) is designed to showcase “groundbreaking innovations and the future of health care.”
The event brings together "global healthcare leaders, innovators, and professionals to showcase the latest advancements in the medical field,” read a statement by MEDICO.
The exhibition adds that the event will provide a "unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, engage with top-tier professionals, and discover the future of healthcare.
The fair is expected to welcome over 30,000 visitors and help create over 1,000 jobs.
