“The text of the MoU will be published after signing on Friday, based on the agreement of the parties,” Tasnim News Agency reported.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region of Iraq – Iran and the US have agreed to release the content of their recent memorandum of understanding (MoU) after its signing on Friday, Iranian state-affiliated media reported on Wednesday.

Several news platforms, including CNN and Bloomberg, on Wednesday claimed to have gained access to a 14-point agreement between Iran and the US, proceeding to publish the alleged clauses.

However, the semi-official Iranian Tasnim news agency reported on Wednesday that the text of the MoU will be published “after signing on Friday based on the agreement of the parties.”

The leaked clauses include halting the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon, the resumption of maritime traffic in Iranian ports, sanctions relief, and Iran's entitlement to 300 billion dollars in rehabilitation fund.

The semi-official Iranian outlet previously shared a report saying that the text will not be published, but later issued a correction to the contrary.

Tasnim said that the previous report contained a writing error, where the phrase “will not be” was inserted by mistake instead of “will be.”

In the original statement, the Iranian outlet said that the alleged leaks are “significantly incomplete."

US President Donald Trump said Monday said he thinks the text of the MoU will be made public “pretty soon,” in response to a reporter's question.

“I want it to be released because it’s a very powerful document,” Trump stressed.

The US-Iranian memorandum of understanding (MoU), announced early Monday by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and aimed at permanently ending the conflict, is set be signed in Geneva on Friday.

The understanding follows an April ceasefire, where the two warring sides agreed to halt direct military hostilities for the most part, while exchanging several proposals to permanently end the war.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed on Tuesday that Tehran and Washington are set to begin a new stage of negotiations on Friday towards a final agreement.
