Following Hezbollah’s recent strikes on alleged Israeli military and intelligence targets, several factions within the broader Iran-led Islamic Axis of Resistance have issued supportive statements.

DUBAI, UAE - In the wake of Lebanese Hezbollah's recent strikes on alleged Israeli targets, several factions within the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have issued statements of support and congratulations.

Harakat al-Nujaba on Monday praised Hezbollah for its “successful military operations”, highlighting the strategic significance of the strikes and their timing, which coincided with the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

The group commended Hezbollah's ability to “deliver precise blows” despite heightened Israeli preparations and reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Lebanese faction.

Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, also extended his congratulations to Hezbollah on Sunday, particularly commending the operation that allegedly targeted key Israeli objectives.

Khazali noted the significance of the timing on the Arbaeen anniversary and emphasized that, despite the extensive support for Israel from various international and regional actors, “the resistance’s resolve remains strong”.

He added that any aggression by Israel would be met with a firm response.

Iraq’s Kataib Hezbollah on Sunday also celebrated Hezbollah’s capability to strike deep within Israeli territory despite advances in Israeli military technology.

The group lauded Hezbollah's ability to penetrate Israeli defenses and strike vital military and intelligence targets.

Kataib Hezbollah highlighted that these strikes serve as an initial response to the assassination of prominent leader in Lebanese Hezbollah Fuad Shukr and affirmed their readiness to support all factions in the resistance, particularly those on the front lines against the US and Western-supported Israel.

On Sunday, Lebanese Hezbollah launched an attack using more than 300 drones and missiles targeting deep into Israeli territory.

This attack follows the recent assassination of a Hezbollah leader Fuad Shukr, which the group has described as a catalyst for their retaliatory actions.

The Lebanese group has indicated that the primary goal of this attack was a strategic Israeli military target, details of which would be disclosed at a later time.

In response, the Israeli military has reported conducting extensive strikes in southern Lebanon aimed at neutralizing what they describe as a "large-scale attack" orchestrated by Hezbollah. The Israeli forces’ operations was intended to counter and prevent further escalation from Hezbollah’s offensive.

Hezbollah on Sunday announced the completion of the "first phase" of their response and vowed to continue their operations until their objectives are met.
