Iran launched hundreds of missiles at key locations across Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, in retaliation for the death of Iranian and Axis of Resistance leaders, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said.

DUBAI, UAE - A series of missile attacks launched from Iran targeted multiple regions of Israel Tuesday with Israeli officials and media sources confirming that hundreds of missiles targeted key locations, including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and southern Israel.

The Israeli Army reported that hundreds of missiles were fired from Iran, with several ballistic missiles destroying military and civilian sites across the country.

A building in northern Tel Aviv was struck by one of the missiles, as confirmed by Israeli Army Radio. Sirens sounded across the country, sending millions of Israelis to shelters as the situation unfolded.

In a formal address, the IRGC claimed responsibility for targeting the heart of Israel’s territory, stating it was in “retaliation for the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and Martyr Nilforoushan.”

If Israel reacts to Iran's operation, “it will face crushing attacks,” the IRGC warned, further escalating concerns of a broader regional conflict.

Israeli media has been closely monitoring the strikes, with reports indicating that dozens of missiles have hit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Two additional rockets were confirmed to have landed in Israel's southern region.

A missile struck the Ain al-Asad air base in western Anbar, which hosts American troops, coinciding with the Iranian missiles targeting Israel.

A security source told The New Region that "a missile fell inside the Ain al-Asad base," noting that it "was launched from the Al-Mohammadi area in the Hit district near the base."

The source indicated that "no human casualties were recorded in the incident."

Meanwhile, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq issued a statement saying that "the operation targeting Ain al-Asad base, as announced by the Americans, is a suspicious act that may be linked to groups associated with the Americans themselves."
