Locals in Kurdish village of Iran harvest this year’s grapes

Villagers are busy picking grapes in the village of Hana Sheikhan, in western Iran’s Kurdish-majority city of Marivan.

 

Hana Sheikhan is one of the oldest villages in Iran’s western Kurdish regions, with stunning scenery, rampant with vineyards and grapes known for their tasty flavor.

 

This family wakes up early in the morning to gather this year’s grape harvest.
