“In a continuation of the Islamic republic's strikes against Komala, three missiles targeted Komala's headquarters in the Doli Alana area today,” the group told The New Region.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region of Iraq – At least three Iranian missiles struck a base of the Komala of the Toilers of Kurdistan, an Iranian Kurdish opposition party, in the Kurdistan Region’s Erbil province on Sunday, the group said.

“In a continuation of the Islamic republic's strikes against Komala, three missiles targeted Komala's headquarters in the Doli Alana area today,” the group told The New Region.

Since the US-Israel war with Iran began in late February, the Kurdistan Region has come under hundreds of drone and missile attacks, which are ongoing despite a ceasefire between the warring parties.

The strikes have predominantly targeted Iranian Kurdish opposition groups based in the Kurdistan Region since the ceasefire, with other infrastructure and facilities remaining largely untouched.

The Komala of the Toilers of Kurdistan alone has been targeted by “more than 76 missiles and drones” since the outbreak of the war, according to data provided by the group.

On Wednesday, two bases of Iranian Kurdish opposition groups, Komala of the Toilers of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDPI), in Erbil province were struck by seven missiles and drone attacks.

The strikes carried out against the opposition groups in the Kurdistan Region have killed 10 people and wounded several others since late February.
