Iraq to suspend MasterCard use for foreign transactions June: Source

The Central Bank of Iraq has ordered local banks to halt the use of MasterCard for international transactions starting June 1, 2025, shifting all foreign dealings to the US-issued Switch card to enhance financial oversight, source told The New Region.
